Welcome to another Saturday Blog Hop. As with most stay-at-home moms, weekends are busy with sports and family activities. Today, we have the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby, a tutor session, skating lessons and a birthday party. Whew!
Before you head out for your busy day, take a few minutes to enjoy your morning coffee or cup of tea and join in the Saturday Morning Blog Hop over at The “Quiet” Blog. It’s a fun way to get to know other bloggers that you may not have come across otherwise.
This week, I thought I would share some of my favorite fitness happenings and blog posts from the previous week.
DietBet.com Challenge
I am participating in a diet bet on Dietbet.com. I am pleased with my progress so far, but I have 2 pounds to go to reach my goal and I think there are 10 days left. Wish me luck! I wan to be like this excited woman on the scale when I reach my goal. Any participants who reach their goal will split the pot, which is now up to $5500. Woo hoo! Even if I don’t reach my goal, I am really excited about my progress and feeling healthier and stronger every day. Check out Dietbet.com and see if there is a game you can join, or better yet, start one of your own.
Cathe Friedrich XTrain: DVD Review
I am always looking for new DVDs to try. My friend Missy at Mistransformation always has some great reviews to share. This week, she took on Cathe Friedrich XTrain Legs DVD. Go check out her great review.
What Did We Learn This Month?
This is a great feature from my friend at Brooklyn FitChick. She summarizes some of the top fitness tips from the leading magazines in the industry. Here is her latest post about what to learn from the February issue of Fitness Magazine.
How to Workout Wherever You Are
My friend Toni over at Real Health wrote a terrific article about fitting in workouts wherever you are. She gives you ideas to workout at work, at home, or even running errands. Small changes in how you move throughout the day can make a big difference in how you feel in general. Stop by and read Toni’s article here.
Get Fit for Summer NOW!
This is my plug to stop by my Beachbody site to consider a great home workout program to get a jump start on your spring and summer fitness. It will be swimsuit season before you know it and NOW is the time to take action so that your body has made significant changes by summer. There are so many amazing programs to choose from. I highly recommend Brazil Butt Lift for getting that rear view swimsuit ready.
That’s all for now. Time for birthday party preparations. Have a happy and healthy weekend.
This post is part of the Saturday Morning Coffee Blog Hop. Stop by the hosting site and stop by other great blogs.

A diet bet sounds wonderful. I need to get my butt into the gym!
Congrats on all your progress. I like the diet bet idea. Hope you stayed away from the birthday cake!
I love the idea of making weight loss a bit competitive..maybe I’ll actually keep with it instead of starting over all the time!
