I love finding new sites on the internet promoting cool fashions that are reasonably priced. I was thrilled to be included in a recent Fashionista Event to review a new site called 9thandElm.com.
9thandElm.com was founded by Clay and Elly Bethune in the spring of 2013 with a mission to bring it’s members fabulous fashion from the best handmade and independent designers. We realize it is extremely difficult to sort through and discover handmade fashion geared towards the “fashionista”. Search no longer. Exclusive deals handpicked by our buyers will be delivered daily to our users inbox. This site is a multiple designer site.
I am a bargain shopper. I rarely pay full price for anything. That said, I like to find items that are unique, which can be tricky with many standard retail shops. I love that 9ttandElm.com promotes not only quality items, but those that are creative and unique. I really enjoyed selecting products that I have not seen elsewhere, especially not for such great prices!
Here I am showing off my stylish new pieces from 9thandElm.com. More about each individual piece below. I love that the jewelry can be worn casually or dressy. Event the tank could be dressed up with a sleek pair of black pants and heals. For this shot, I am showing off my casual style on a fall afternoon. The weather was a bit too chilly for the tank alone so I topped it with a black cardigan. The tank is super soft and comfortable and I love the unique print of the pirate ship.
The first item I chose was a set of 3 bracelets from Lily and Laura. Lily and Laura bracelets are an artistic collaboration between Laura and artisans in Nepal using the finest glass beads in the world. The artisans who help create these amazing bracelets are paid more than a fair wage and have the freedom to work only when they are inspired. I selected bracelets with a black, white and silver tone so they really go with everything.
The next item I chose was a monogrammed silver necklace from Best Personalized Jewelry. This company is a place where a name turns into a unique piece of jewelry. This collection features a beautiful selection of handmade, personalized jewelry. I love the way the necklace is delicate yet bold at the same time. I have had items like totes or robes monogrammed, but never a necklace. I really love it!
Last, but certainly not least, I chose this really cool Pirate Ship Tank from Freebird Cloth. FreeBird Cloth is an independent label based on the East Coast in North Carolina. Their clothing is for the free thinkers and eco conscious. All our items are produced by hand in their home studio using earth friendly processes and non toxic water based ink. Not only is this ink good for the environment it leaves the clothing with a soft vintage feel. Most designs are drawn free hand while others are a mix of graphic design and hand drawing.
9thandElm.com is constantly updating their site with new great items to choose from created by a variety of designers. Each item has an end date for the sale so scoop them up while the gettin’s good!
