Avengers: Age of Ultron – My Family’s Review

Can't Wait to See Avengers Age of Ultron

Yes, we joined the millions of people who saw Avengers: Age of Ultron this weekend. It was apparently the second best opening weekend of a movie in the US. WOW! Well, I can say that my family definitely gives it a thumbs up. The recent reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (one of my favorite review sites) reports the following:

avengers age of ultron review

Critics tend to be a bit hard on adventure movies, but as you can see, the audience LOVES it! We agree with this majority. Avengers: Age of Ultron is a super fun movie for the entire family. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter especially loved the kick-butt female characters, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. My son loved all of the action scenes. The opening scene alone is like a power packed video game of good vs. evil.

As usual, the Avengers team works together to save the world. This time, there is some conflict even within the team, but overall, they still come together to save the day. A few new characters are presented and hints are given about the future of the Avengers franchise. The folks at Marvel Pictures also took this opportunity to present great previews of other upcoming features like Ant Man and The Fantastic Four. We can’t wait for more!

I don’t want to give too much away, but the Avengers is 2 hours and 20 minutes of action packed fun. There is even a bit of romance this time around and a secret is revealed with one of the characters living a bit of a double life. There is also a bit of a struggle within the Avengers team to decide what is the best way to move forward in their efforts to keep peace in the world.

If you are already a fan of the Avengers movies, you will not be disappointed with this movie.

Have you seen The Avengers: Age of Ultron yet? What did you think?

This is a movie I would love to see in the theaters, but I have a son with autism, and the theater is too loud. I cannot wait to see it when it comes to cable.

We saw a preview a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was great, but my husband the die-hard comic nerd was a bit harsh on it.
