Last week, I started the Best Body Bootcamp hosted by Tina Reale. It’s a great program with a support group on Facebook and hundreds of participants to cheer you on. For the first 2 weeks, Tina has us doing 5 workouts with an optional extra cardio or stretch day and one rest day. The workouts include strength, cardio, core and intervals.
I like that Tina also recommends that we check in each week with a post (like this one) and create goals for each week as well. For last week, my goals were to exceed 8-10 glasses for water each day and to come in under my My Fitness Pal calorie recommendations.
Here is my weekly summary:
5 days following the program, one day stretch/yoga
Met this goal 7 days
Met this goal 6 of 7 days. I finally cheated a little on Sunday night with a bowl of cereal. Not a big cheat, but I still felt a bit guilty to go over my calories for the day.
I ran a PR for me in a 4 miler on my treadmill. Yippee!
Most Challenging Move
I think most of us vote for the scorpion on a ball as the most challenging move in the challenge so far. Give it a try and see what you think.
I love the Facebook Support group. It’s a great place to ask questions and to share my experiences with other participants about my workouts and goals. I just started week #2 yesterday and I’m looking forward to my results at the end of the week.
