Best Body Bootcamp – Week #1

Best Body BootcampAfter coming of the Holiday Booty Buster Challenge through Run to the Finish, I was looking forward to finding another challenge to build on my momentum. I found the Best Body Bootcamp through Tina Reale.

This challenge is an 8 week program with workouts and tracking forms. Each week I’ll workout at least 5 times with a combo of strength and cardio. I will also track at least 2 goals each week. For this week, I am aiming to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water and come in at or slightly below my calorie max with My Fitness Pal.

The Bootcamp started with a fitness test so I can track my progress the next time I take it. Hear are today’s results:

Wall Sit: 1:15
Push-ups: 25 in 1 minute (last 5 on knees)
Plank: 1:11
Burpees: 17 in one minute before my form started to suck
1 Mile Run: 10:17

I am looking forward to seeing how I improve over time. I’ll keep you updated. Until next time, all the best in health and fitness

  1. Your results are great! Cannot wait to see what it is like after 8 weeks. I loved Best Body Bootcamp last time, my husband even noticed a difference in how I felt about myself. 🙂 Good luck!

  6. Great job on the fitness test. My form sucks after 1 or 2 toe push ups, so I did them on my knees. So, I’m doing a little bow of awe to you for toe push ups! So great to meet another BBB’er, looking forward to cheering you on for the program.

    Looks like an excellent way to challenge one’s self and get in shape. I need to be better at setting goals. I work out, but I just never have meaningful and measurable goals.
