I feel like the summer is going by in a flash. It’s only 3 weeks before the 2016-17 school year starts. How did that happen so quickly? I’ve already started thinking about Back-to-School planning. There are so many things on my list. Have you ever thought about the things that might be on the shopping lists of your children’s teachers? Many teachers spend quite a bit of out-of-pocket money to cover supplies for their classrooms.
Have you heard about Box Tops for Education? It is an easy to give back to schools on your everyday purchases. Simply look for the Box Tops labels like I did with General Mills products at Walmart. Your school receives $.10 for every box top you clip and send! You can earn 4 more ($.50) on select products too! It’s so easy and can make such a big difference for your schools.
Our school is very fortunate to have the Box Tops program. My kids enjoy cutting out and saving the Box Tops so they can bring in a bunch. Our schools often have contests where classrooms try to collect the most Box Tops in a month. Making “collection sheets” can help keep kids motivated too.
Box Tops are easy to find on products you use everyday from breakfast to snacks and easy meals! When we are shopping at Walmart, my kids remind me to look for Box Top products. After we finish using a product, my daughter usually reminds me to cut the Box Tops label before recycling the box. Whoops, wouldn’t want to do that.
If your school is not part of the program. Stop by BoxTops4Education.com for more information about how your school principal can sign up.
Good ole Back to School shopping. Supplies are done. Still a few more clothes needed though. But I did stocked them up on some good snacks!
