Sunday nights are great nights to get the family together. The weekend can often get super busy with kid’s sports activities and household chores. The kids spend Friday and Saturday nights with their friends and my husband and I try to fit in a date night. Sunday is our night to gather as a family for some bonding over some FOOTBALL!
You don’t need to be a super-fan to make this Sunday night family gathering work. For example, my daughter is not always interested in the game, but she still likes joining in for the family fun. We make bets on who will win and throw a soft football around the room too. First person who drops it has to clean up after the game.
Having our own “TV Room Tailgate Party” is a blast. I’m trying to be more creative than just having bowls of chips and pretzels. I’m trying some fun, new recipes each week. To serve as inspiration, the folks at Farm Rich are providing some terrific, Game Day Snack Hacks all season long. Check out www.farmrich.com/gameday so you can keep your family team well-fed during the games.
Here’s this week’s recipe. Doesn’t it look amazing?!
Chicken & Waffles Sandwich
Remember, the most important team your kids will ever play on is your Family Team.

That looks amazing, even if those are those horrid frozen waffles, haha. Can't go wrong with chicken, bacon, cheese and pickles!

Your game day treats look really good. Here's betting they'll be so good, they'll all eaten up before halftime.

Generally the kids are in bed by the time game time rolls around here. My husband and I like the simple chips and dip snacks while we are watching the game with friends.
