If you are a busy mom like me (who isn’t these days?), it’s challenging to find some time for yourself. When we are not shuttling the kids to school and extracurricular activities, we are often working, grocery shopping, doing laundry, cleaning house, etc. Even 5 minutes of quiet time can make a huge difference.
How do you spend your quiet time between the daily hustle & bustle of your life? After I get the kids off to school and maybe run an errand or two, I try to spend 10-20 minutes of quiet time. I’ll often wrap myself up in my favorite blanket and have a snack while reading a good book. It’s time I cherish where I can really enjoy myself and be in the present moment.
Recently, I tried new Café Breaks – an indulgent upscale pudding cup – as my snack of choice. They come in tantalizing flavors like Mocha Latte and Caramel Latte. Doesn’t that sound decadent? To create extra special “me time,” I made a pudding parfait using both Café Breaks flavors. It’s super easy to make:

- One layer crushed graham crackers – you could try pretzels for a sweet/salty combo too!

- Top with fresh fruit! – sliced almonds is another option I like.
