This is a Fashionista Events opportunity.
What are your family vacation plans for the summer? Have you ever booked a stay in someone’s home? If not, I highly recommend that you try Airbnb.com. We booked through them last summer and stayed in this lovely home. It was like having our own home away from home. It was so cozy and comfortable for our family. The kids loved it! We were close to parks, public transportation, and great local restaurants.
We used parameters like these to search to find our perfect place. Airbnb connects people to unique travel experiences, at any price point, in more than 34,000 cities and 190 countries. Hmm, maybe next time we’ll book a castle. There are even 600 of those to choose from.
A bit more from Airbnb:
Founded in August of 2008 and based in San Francisco, California, Airbnb is a trusted community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique accommodations around the world — online or from a mobile phone.
Host families are typically locals who can really help you experience your vacation from a local point of view. If you are not sure where you want to stay, Airbnb has some fun tools, like the neighborhood guides below, to help you figure it out.
If you can dream it, you can probably find it on Airbnb. I’m dreaming about this one for a future stay:
Let this Airbnb video take you away for a moment and help you dream up your next vacation.
That is pretty awesome – I definitely want to try it
Airbnb offers a unique experience and has something for everyone. For the businessman only needing a bed for the night to a special anniversary castle stay.
Twice a year I rent a house for a weekend getaway with the girls and have been looking to rent a house for our next family vacation. A house gives us the freedom to cook our own meals and allows our children a little more freedom than a hotel does.
I fully believe a vacation should be an escape, but hotels feel so clinical sometimes. Bed and Breakfasts can also be outdated and off the beaten path. AirBnb is great for booking a unique stay that is sure to be authentic and comfortable.
I have been interested to see what AirBnb is all about. Thanks for letting me in on it.
I’ve never used airbnb.com but I’ve heard good things!
I should look in to this for our next vacation. It looks like it would take the guesswork out of it. thanks!!!
My husband and I keep talking about going to Tennessee one of these days, one day we’ll get there! We’re actually talking about doing a “stay-cation” and working on the house and just relaxing at the end of June. I’m so excited to just have a few days to relax and spend time with my hubby. = ]
We want to do a special family vacay next year and can’t decide on a destination. I will have to check out Airbnb. I have never heard of it before!
