Getting Excited for The Peanuts Movie with Halloween Treats

The Peanuts Movie opens on November 6th. The family of Albertsons Safeway stores are getting ready for the premiere with an in-store promotion and sweepstakes! When you purchase 3 participating products, you get an adorable Peanut’s themed trick-or-treat bag. I visited my local Shaws to pick up participating products so I could bring home two bags. Being a HUGE Peanuts fan myself, I am totally saving these for future Halloween use too.

We decided to combine items to make a few cute Halloween treats.

Woodstock Halloween Birdseed Cups

Woodstock has always been one of my favorite Peanut’s character so I knew I wanted one of our treats to have a Woodstock theme. We topped Vanilla Snack Pack pudding cups with Kellogg’s Corn Pops and I used my artistic talents to draw little Woodstocks on each cup. Aren’t they adorable? If you can’t draw Woodstock, you could always print out an image and glue them onto the cups too.

Fizzy Drink Pumpkin Patch

We drew jack-o-lanterns on small condiment cups and filled them Sunkist soda to add that fun pop of orange. I put them on a green piece of construction paper to make them look a bit more like a pumpkin patch. My daughter really enjoyed helping to make these.
