This post was brought to you by Walmart on behalf of Sverve. All opinions are my own.
These days, many people are being more mindful about how they eat. For example, a number of my friends eat gluten free. A few of my friends follow a vegan diet. In addition, my daughter is friends with a number of girls who have Celiac Disease. In both cases, these friends can not eat foods containing gluten. Luckily, more and more brands are providing gluten-free options. Even better is that Walmart is providing gluten-free options at terrific prices.
When my friend’s daughter was first diagnosed with Celiac Disease, she was really worried about what her daughter would be able to eat. Would she still be able to have fun treats with her friends? When I host our book club, two members are vegan so I need to create snacks that include gluten free options.
I have long been a fan of gluten free snack bars like the Clif Mojo bars. They are great on-the-go, but also terrific as part of my Gluten Free Party Mix. I used the Coconut Almond Peanut bars add a chewy bit of gluten-free goodness to this mix. You can find all of the ingredients for this easy party mix at Walmart. Whether for a party of one or 10, this gluten free party mix is always a hit at my house.
Gluten Free Party Mix
- 2 Clif Mojo Coconut Almond Peanut Bars
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 unsalted roasted almonds
- Slice Clif Mojo bars into small pieces about 1/2×1/2 inch
- Mix in a bowl with other ingredients
- Separate into personal serving dishes

I’ve seen Walmart’s gluten-free section at our local store. Some of the stuff looks exactly the same as the regular products!
I don’t have to eat gluten free but I have to admit some of the gluten free products actually taste very good. This snack mix sounds scrumptious to me–I love every one of those ingredients!
That sounds like a great snack. Perfect to send to school with the kiddos.

Oh I have to try that bar. It looks really good and it’s a plus that it is gluten free.
I love that there are more and more options out there that are gluten free. I am not gluten free myself, but I do have a friend that has Celiac’s disease and I know that eating out or just finding something she could cook up without gluten in it, was extremely challenging for her. These days its much easier for her and she’s had a hard run health wise. I’m happy for things like this for her.
Mmm that looks so good! Thanks for sharing!

That party mix looks AMAZING! My SIL has to eschew Gluten, so I’m sending this to her! Thanks!
