Halloween is a favorite holiday for our family. We love creating new treats to share at neighborhood parties. This year, we created these adorable Pudding Halloween Party Treats. My daughter can’t wait to bring them to her friends house this year. They are sure to be a big hit.
We came up with a few fun ideas to create Halloween characters like ghosts, pumpkins and little monsters (that was my son’s idea). I am also a big fan of no-fuss recipes so these treats are super easy and fun to make. Plus, each serving of pudding has as much calcium as a glass of milk. Makes this momma happy to get a little extra calcium in my kids.
Ghost in the Graveyard
First, we created our “ghosts in the graveyard” with chocolate pudding cups, Nutter Butters and a little black icing. We put the pudding into baking cups for a little more color. Boo!
Pumpkin Patch
This recipe is only slightly more complex. Once again, we started with chocolate pudding cups. We used Pumpkin Spice Oreos (typically out around this time of year) for our pumpkins. I cut the pumpkin grooves with a butter knife. We broke a piece from the top of the cookie to make the stem. Then we painted on green sugar sprinkles for color. Isn’t it almost too cute to eat?
Mini Monster
My son came up with this cute idea. This time we used the butterscotch pudding cups. We added green sprinkles to give the monster more color. We cut apple slices to make the eyes and teeth. GGGGRRrrrr! Look out for that monster!
What are your favorite Halloween Party Treats?
Oh goodness these are ALL adorable, but I think I like the apple slice monster the best! CUTE ideas!
The pumpkin patch cupcake is my favorite out of the three. I simply MUST try those limited edition Pumpkin spice Oreos.
Those seem easy to make. They’re also super cute! Thanks for the ideas.
I can’t believe how cute they are! I am not that clever. I love the ghosts in the graveyard ’cause they are my favorite cookie! But the apple monster is adorable.
We don’t celebrate but these are fun ideas! Really love the pumpkin one!
Please let your son know that my favorite of the snacks is the monster he created with green sprinkles and apple slice face! 🙂 It is also the scariest because his face has been “sliced” get it ? Okay sort of twisted of me I suppose lol.
I love pudding snacks and never would have thought to use them in this way. Great article, very creative work, thank you for sharing so I can try it too!
Oh, these are cute and I love that you used easy-to-find items. We have dinner with my sister in law’s family every Halloween, I’ll have to take one of your creations!
