Hamilton Beach Soft Scrape Hand Mixer Review and Giveaway

Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer Review and GiveawayFTC Disclosure

As I mentioned in my review of the Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer, I am a reluctant cook. What I love about tools like this mixer is that they help challenge me to try something new. With my first attempt, I decided to make something easy like cupcakes. The hand mixer made it super easy to blend the ingredients together. My daughter loved helping out too.

I was a bit skeptical if the soft scrape beaters would really grab the mix at the edges of the bowl, but it did quite well. I would not say it eliminates all scraping off the sides, but it does minimize it. My only complaint is that I think the lowest speed still a bit fast. The batter splattered a bit until I got used to the rhythm. That said, I suppose my bowl may have also been a bit too shallow. Once we got the hang of it, both my daughter and I were able to mix with success. The Quick Burst function is cool if you see a little lump you want to blend quickly.

The feature I really like is the snap on storage case. There is nothing worse than hunting down mixer parts and not being able to find them. This is such a great way to keep everything together and organized. The beaters, whisk and dough hooks are also easy to snap in and remove.
