Having Fun with Hummus

Hummus is truly one of my favorite go-to spreads for snacking. I love it on English muffins, crackers, for dipping veggies and more. I suppose I am a bit of a hummus snob, but I don’t always have time to make it from scratch. If a grocery store hummus measures up to my standards, it’s got to be amazing!

Well, I have struck hummus gold with Heluva Good! Hummus. Sure, the folks have sponsored this post, but I would not brag about this hummus if I did not truly find it to be delicious. My husband can attest to my euphorically eye-rolling expression when I took my first bite of Heluva Good! Hummus. Yup, it’s that good!

Heluva Good! Hummus comes in 3 delicious flavors.

  1. Hey Jenn, that sunflower totally made me laugh. You are quite creative!
I must admit that I don’t really like hummus. I’ve tried a couple of store-bought ones, and even made one from scratch but neither was particularly tasty. Maybe I should try this one 🙂

I’ve loved hummus since I first tried in 1993 back when few people had heard of it! I’ve always made my own roasted garlic and roasted red pepper hummus, but never thought to add horseradish, I’ll have to give that a try.

I live in Denmark, so the prepared hummus market isn’t as plentiful as it is in the US, but my friends say my hummus can go head to head with the Middle Eastern delis any day of the week.

  3. I still haven’t acquired a taste for hummus. Since you are so confident in your love for this particular brand, I will have to give it a try. I think I’ve seen it in our store.

  4. I’m not a big fan of Hummus, but I think you’ve just changed my mind! I love your sunflower edible photo! Super cute idea. I will have to go try this brand!

  5. Hummus is our all time favorite dip! I find it very filling, nutritious and tasty too. I hope they sell this brand in the west coast too. I’m kinda tired of Trader Joe’s hummus :/

So I have seen people who swear by Hummus but I never really dived in to see what it was all about and what the hype was. I need to try it with some snack foods that I have laying around.

  7. I’ve never tried this brand, but I’ve seen it several times on the shelves, and I’d love to give it a try. I’m not sure I’d be a fan of the Horseradish flavour, but I would totally go for the Roasted Red Pepper. It looks so delicious!

  8. Well, it won’t be named as Helluva Good Hummus if it’s not. I love hummus too but I don’t think I found a ready-made one here in my country that’s why I’m looking for a recipe from scratch. I just eat it with warm pita bread.

  9. We are big hummus fans but have never tried the Heluva Good brand. I will be looking for this brand the next time I am at the grocery. I am most interested in the Roasted Red Pepper flavor.

  10. We are huge hummus fans too! We eat it regularly for snacks and my son often takes hummus sandwiches to school. I’m not sure we can get this brand in the UK, but it sounds fab – and the red pepper one particularly appeals. Delicious!!
