While summer is a great time to show off a healthy glow, it can also be a time where changes between outside heat and indoor air conditioning can wreak havoc on your beauty routine. With a little help from the folks at Babbleboxx, I found some great new products to help you beat the heat while looking good and feel great!

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Mineral Water Gel Moisturizer
My skin can feel oily one moment and dry the next. My combination skin craves something light, yet affective. I love that this moisturizer is super light and oil-free and paraben free. The moisturizer combines Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water with 48-hr Dynamic Hydration to leave me looking radiant.
Key ingredients include:
- Mineralizing Thermal Water: Strengthens skin against external aggressors
- Hyaluronic Acid: Able to retain up to 1000 times its weight in water leaving the skin plumped with moisture.
- Aquabioryl: Acts more deeply in the epidermis for a long-lasting hydrating and soothing effect.
- Y-Carrageenans: Reinforces skin barrier, locks in hydration hour after hour and smoothes the skin’s surface.

LaCroix Cúrate Sparkling Water
Nothing beats the heat like a refreshing drink. This version of the LaCroix line has flavors that are inspired by French & Spanish cultures. I tried Melón Pomelo (cantaloupe/grapefruit) and Pomme Bayá (apple/berry). Infused with essences of fresh fruit, each has a tangy flavor with a touch of sweetness.
The LaCroix Cúrate family includes 6 flavors, all of which come in 12oz. tall cans, and all of which have slightly bolder flavors than LaCroix. They are a great alternative to soda. They are zero calories, 100% natural with no sugar or artificial sweeteners and sodium free. I am not usually a big fan of flavored sparkling waters, but I really like these. I can’t wait to try more flavors.

Butter™ London Lost In Leisure Lacquer Set
When I am heading on vacation, I always like my nails to look their best. This limited edition nail polish set from Butter LONDON includes fun shades that are great for the beach and fruity cocktails. Shades include fun names like Rock Candy and Marmalade Skies.
I love that butter LONDON does not add Formaldehyde, Resin, DBP, Toluene, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, or TPHP to any of its nail product formulas. This makes me feel better about allowing my daughter to use the polish too.
These polishes are high shine and chip resistant. They contain Hydrolyzed Silk, Horsetail Extract, Vitamins B, C, and E.
I think this color (Fit) will be my choice for my upcoming vacation.

Tempting by Sofia Vergara
This is a new fragrance from actress Sofia Vergara. The brand says, “Each of her fragrances is inspired by the unique characteristics that make her distinctly Sofia, creating a multifaceted collection of fragrances for every occasion.”
Tempting has fruit and floral accents with wood notes. Apparently, it’s for the “temptress” in every woman. Hear me ROAR! LOL! My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised by the light scent. Be careful though. A little goes a LONG way. Just a tiny dap was enough for me.
The 1 oz. fragrance is currently available exclusively at Perfumania online and in stores. The 3.4 oz. (as well as the 1 oz.) will hit major retailers nationwide in September.

Nad’s Exfoliating Body Wax Strips
Nothing is worse than razor bumps, but I have been a bit hesitant to try home waxing. Luckily Nad’s Exfoliating Body Wax Strips made the process super easy. It is a two-step method to remove unwanted hair and minimize ingrown hairs from occurring. Pomegranate and grapefruit extracts give these strips a pleasant smell too.
The strips have two sides. The outer side has a course surface to help buff away buildup of dead skin cells and release trapped ingrown hairs. The wax side of each strip then removes the hair.
Nad’s advises using the product weekly to help prevent pesky ingrown hairs while keeping skin feeling smooth and glowing. Do my legs glow? Well, maybe not, but they do look and feel great!
