We all have set backs from time to time. Well, I’ve had a bit of a setback when it comes to my self-care routine. As with many busy moms, I put myself low on the priority list. Yoga & Stretching
Before I leave my bedroom, I do some stretches or a few sun salutations to get my blood flowing. If I have time, I pull up a quick yoga routine on my laptop. It always gives me an energy boost to start my day.

My morning cup of tea is something that I look forward to each day. Lately, I’ve been grabbing it on-the-go for the drive to school. I have returned to having my cup of tea before the kids wake up. I find a quiet place to really savor the peaceful moment.
Setting My Intention for the Day
I have a pretty little pad where I set an intention for my day. Sometimes I come up with something of my own and sometimes I find a good quote to use. I found this one the other day. Don’t you just love it?
