When I reflect back on my high school and college days, I made questionable choices in my style (especially my hair), and sometimes my boyfriends. Regardless of my bad choices, pizza date nights were always a great activity from my youth. Sometimes a few couples would get together at home for pizza and a movie. My friend Susan and I struck this pose on one such occasion. Remember Sun In? It turned my hair orange.
About 3 years after college, I met my wonderful husband (and no longer had orange hair). We often had pizza date nights where we would curl up on the couch, watch a movie and enjoy a pizza. We had all the time in the world to enjoy spending time together.
Fast forward 15 more years. We are now married with 2 great kids. My husband works long hours and travels a lot so our pizza date nights are fewer and far between. We cherish the time we can spend alone together.
Sometimes we’ll schedule sleepovers away from home so we can enjoy a pizza date night alone. Other times, we’ll set the kids up in the family room with their own pizza and movie and we’ll cuddle in the living room.
I love how our pizza date nights help us reconnect. A great go-to option for us is the pizzas from Red Baron. My husband and I love the cheese trio and my kids love the pepperoni. They are ready in less than 20 minutes and delicious!!

Multiple cheese pizzas are the best 😉
Pizza Nights are my fave!! We have them every Friday….it means family time and that I don’t have to prep an entire meal! WinWin I say… I haven’t tried Red Baron but may grab it for our next Pizza Night…hey that’s tomorrow!!! 😀
I havent’ tried pizza by Red Baron but I can see how it can turn a boring night to a great one while watching a nice movie at home. With it, we don’t need to wait too long for pizza deliver to arrive. We also love having pizza for dinner.
My family loves Red Baron pizza. I love how any different varieties they have. I work about an hour from home so sometimes pizza is an easy meal solution. Add a side of salad and dinner is served!
I think because of our busy life styles it is important to make sure that you get to spend time with the people you love. I love the idea of the pizza date night with just your spouse or with your spouse and kids. This allows people to reconnect and reminds them what is really important.
I love pizza dates too. Just something about spending time together, eating some delicious comfort food! We are huge fans of at-home dates and love making frozen pizzas. Looks like your pizza was delicious and so glad you got to share some special time!
For us pizza nights have changed now that my wife and youngest son are gluten free. Still fun, and we’ve found some GF pizzas that are pretty good, but I still feel bad for them when they can’t get pizza that they want.
We used to have Family Pizza Nights growing up and I have so many fond memories of enjoying Red Baron pizza back then. Now, I serve Red Baron pizza to my husband and daughters and we’re continuing the tradition. I love the crust of Red Baron pizza.
