Great Products for Your Holiday Dinner Party

This time of year is full of hustle and bustle. Between shopping, gift wrapping, decorating, who has time to host a party? Well, I’ve got some great items you can use to put together an easy holiday dinner party in no time. The folks from BabbleBoxx sent me a collection of products that are great for mixed company, which is usually what I have at my house. This means a bunch of cousins, Grandma & Grandpa, in-laws, etc. That’s a lot of people to please. Are you curious? Let’s get this party started…

Great Products to host a Holiday Dinner Party

Simplehuman Foam Cartridge Sensor Pump & Soap

I always make sure that my guest bathroom is all set to welcome guests. I great little gadget I had the chance to try is the Simplehuman Foam Cartridge Sensor Pump & Soap. The foam cartridge sensor pump delivers a smooth foam soap, and it’s touch-free so no germs or smudges are left behind. So great for messy kids, but with an upscale feel for the grown-ups too. Refills are easy as you just eject the old cartridge and insert a new one. The pump is also rechargeable. One charge is supposed to last up to 3 months. Cool, huh?

The soaps are available in a wide range scents including some from EO and Antica Farmacista, as well as a dish soap line. I was given the Lavender to try. I think it’s a little strong. I’d like to try the Mandarin Orange. The unscented will probably work well for my sensitive kids.

Sunsweet Pacific Tropicals

I had not heard of Sunsweet Pacific Tropicals before this post. The two I tried are delicious! My kids love the Sunsweet Green Mango slices in a trail mix I make with granola, dried cranberries and raisins. It’s a sweet treat that I feel good about giving the kids too.

My husband and I are in love with the Sunsweet Thai Coconut chips. I had to stop him from eating handfuls out of the bag. The back of the bag suggested sprinkling them over a salad. AMAZING!! I have seriously found a new salad topper that I am going to use all the time. I predict that these will be at our holiday dinner party too.

I’m excited to have some fun and healthy indulgences to satisfy my sweet tooth. It will keep me away for the pies and cakes (well, at least I’ll take smaller slices). Since they come in re-sealable bags – they are perfect as a mid-morning snack or before a workout for a quick energy boost. I may need to hide them from my husband though.

Annie’s Homegrown Chicken Noodle

Even my pickiest niece and nephew can’t resist the wholesome goodness of Annie’s Homegrown Chicken Noodle Soup. It’s a classic with egg noodles, organic chicken, carrots and celery.

Wild Garden Quick Marinade + Heat and Serve Pilaf

The Wild Garden Mediterranean line offers three authentic marinades and three tasty pilafs, blended with over 13 spices and oils. Marinades range from spit roasted Shawarma to traditional Turkish fare and an exotic Persian blend with garlic, sumac, and fennel. I’ll admit that I still need to try this one, but it sounds amazing!

My husband and I are big fans of the Heat and Serve Pilafs. They are so convenient as they are ready in only 90 seconds. They are perfect for side dishes, mixed into a salad, or paired with a marinated protein. Pilafs include Bulgur cooked in tomato sauce and herbs, Couscous with chickpeas in a zesty tomato sauce, and Rice and Lentil made with basmati rice and caramelized onions.

These products will make it so easy to impress my family and friends with my culinary skills. Shhh! They don’t need to know how easy it was. You can find Wild Garden products at major national grocers and online at WildGarden.com

Snack Factory® Original Pretzel Crisps®

I have been a long time fan of Snack Factory® Original Pretzel Crisps®. In case you have never tried them, they are a flat, crunchy, pretzel-shaped cracker. They contain 30% fewer calories than potato chips, so they’re a great “better-for- you” snack alternative. They are perfect for entertaining – I often serve them with hummus or fresh guacamole at our holiday party. You can even use them as a substitute for breadcrumbs when cooking!

Snack Factory® Original Pretzel Crisps® made with a simple ingredient list containing NO trans fat, saturated fat or cholesterol. Look for them in the deli section of your grocery store. They come in a wide variety of savory and sweet flavors, and also in several Gluten Free varieties. I love the honey mustard and onion flavor!

LaCroix Cúrate Melón Pomelo

I had the opportunity to try LaCroix sparkling water in a previous BabbleBoxx and fell in love. It’s hard to resist these tasty beverages without feeling the guilt of sugary drinks or sodas. LaCroix is 100% natural sparkling water with natural flavor. That’s it. No sodium, no caffeine, no calories, no fat, no sweeteners.

They are also Non-GMO, Kosher, Paleo and Whole 30 Friendly. I find that they really quench my thirst too. The LaCroix Cúrate Melón Pomelo has ripe cantaloupe essence infused with pink grapefruit. A splash of cranberry juice and some fresh raspberries will make for a refreshing mocktail for the holiday season

Ella’s Kitchen The Red One Pouches

If you have babies or toddlers coming to your holiday party, I recommend having some Ella’s Kitchen The Red One Pouches on hand. Made of only certified USDA organic squished strawberries, raspberries, apples and bananas.

I wish these were around when my kids were little. They are super easy to give to a toddler without them making a big mess. They just need to squeeze and slurp. Yum! Super easy to serve and clean up during the busy holiday meal.
