Here is a quick diet tip: Did you know that consuming 27 grams of fiber daily can reduce your overall calorie intake by 10 percent? Yup, it gives you that fill-you-up factor according to a study at Tufts University. So, if you typically eat 2,000 calories a day, you could take in 200 fewer calories without even knowing it. Then, you can potentially lose up to 2 pounds per month. COOL! Here are some examples of high fiber foods to include in your daily diet:

  • Oatmeal – 4-6 grams
  • Baked potato – 4.5 grams
  • Black beans (1/2 cup) – 7.5 grams
  • Whole wheat pasta (1 cup) – 6 grams
