In just a few weeks, I will be joining a group of women on an amazing adventure retreat. Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort in southwest Utah will be our hosts.
This 4,000 acre ranch resort borders the east boundary of Zion National Park. If you’ve never been to Zion, it is a spectacular park that encompasses some of the most scenic canyon country in the United States.
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort is a premiere destination for both outdoor adventure and relaxation. The Women’s Adventure Retreat focuses on enhancing the physical, mental and emotional strength of the participants. Guests enjoy clean air, scenic beauty, delicious healthy dining and much more. I am so excited to build new friendships in such a wonderful and positive environment.
Here are a few quotes from past retreat guests:
“Don’t want to let the word out – but this is one of those trips that you’ll remember the rest of your life! Makes “adventure retreat” a real life – amazing vacation. This was a “once in a lifetime” WONDERFUL retreat.”
“Wonderful experience and had the best time ever! Everything and everyone were fabulous! I would recommend Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort to anyone looking for adventure and self awareness. One of my best experiences ever! We’ll definitely be back for more adventure.”
The goal of the Women’s Adventure Retreat is to foster happiness, health and wellness through activities that will increase motivation and expand abilities.
Before attending the retreat, the trip organizers reach out to each woman to get a feel for her abilities and preferences. They aim to provide something for everyone. Hikes and classes are customized according to your level.
Each day, guests have the option to start the morning with a fitness class and then take part in the outdoor adventure activities. Guests also have time to enjoy a massage, a nap or use free time to relax and explore.
At night, guests have the opportunity to bond with fellow travelers, eat delicious dinners, and take in the star filled skies.
The Women’s Adventure Retreats run in April and October. I hear they are two of the best months to see the area.Check out this sample schedule. Doesn’t it look fantastic? I can’t decide what I am most looking forward to. I think maybe the Slot Canyon Rappel and the ATV riding.
I’ll be sharing my experience during the trip on my social media channels and a post-trip report on TravelingMom.com. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I am sure it’s going to be amazing!
So, keep an eye out by following @comebackmomma and @travelingmoms on Twitter and Instagram between 4/24-4/30. Watch for updates on my Facebook page too!
Ready for an adventure of your own? Check out Zion Ponderosa Ranch. They have a wide variety of offerings from camping to resort homes, kids camps, and more. I think I’ll try “glamping” the next time I am in town.

New as of June 2016
