Welcome to my Tasty Tuesday Recipe of the week. Try this healthy variation of the classic burger made with turkey, onions, mushrooms, and apples. Thanks to Action Conditioning for this great contribution.
1lb ground turkey breast
5 mushrooms, chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/2 apple, chopped
1/2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 omega 3 egg
1/2 tsp salt
any spices you want (garlic, pepper)
Fry up the onions how you like them (a little browned), then add in the apples and mushrooms stir fry style.
Place all the other ingredients into a large bowl and mix. Now form 2 large patties and broil 4 inches from the heat (6-8min per side).
Pierce the burgers with a fork, if the juices run clear they are done.
