Reignite Your Romance with Sex Tape from SONY Pictures Entertainment

Do you ever feel like the romance in your life has gone a bit stale? This is the premise behind the new comedy from SONY Pictures Entertainment called Sex Tape. It’s a revealing comedy from the director of Bad Teacher. Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel play a busy couple who rarely make time for romance. They decide to spice things up by recording a love making session.

The hysterics begin when they learn that their “Sex Tape” has been shared with all of their friends and family via the Internet Cloud. Uh oh! This is a hilarious reminder that privacy is a challenge in this day and age. The villain is the infamous “cloud.” Who understands that darn thing anyway? Not me. I can’t wait to see this movie with my husband. It’s sure to remind us of fun and silly times of our own.

While the movie title may elicit kinky thoughts, this movie is really about a couple finding one another again and working together to regain their privacy. I like that it promotes fun humor without relying on raunchy jokes.

Sex Tape hits theaters on July 18th. Check out the hysterical preview.

Have you ever felt the need to reignite the passion in your relationship? It’s not unusual when we have work, kids, errands and chores to juggle. Our personal intimacy can fall to the back burner. Has an attempt to be romantic ever gone wrong? My husband and I have never experimented with recordings so luckily we don’t have to worry about the Cloud, but many parents still need to worry about their privacy. Worrying about kids coming to the door can put a kink in a romantic interlude.

One time, my husband and I made plans to have some alone time. We sent the kids to a friends for a sleepover. The dog was being boarded for the night. We had not a care in the world. We cuddled up by the fire and ate our take out food with a few glasses of fine wine. We were both certainly in the mood, until….. The food did not agree with either of us and we were both sick to our stomachs. Can you imagine? Thank goodness that was not on video. From now on, we try to be intimate BEFORE we eat. Well, not always, but it is certainly a situation we care not to repeat.

Romance

Looking back, it was a fun lesson to know that we can’t always plan for everything. We need to be spontaneous and just go with the flow. Having date nights to see movies like Sex Tape keeps us connected as a couple. It’s not always about sex, it is about fun, laughs and creating happy memories.
