If you are one of those people who has ALL of their holiday shopping done, I am totally jealous! Go read another post! If you are like the rest of us, it’s time to get serious and check off those holiday gift lists. Selecting toys for your own kids can be easy if they’ve given you a list. Even so, you likely want to pick up a few surprises. More challenging can be nieces, nephews, friend’s kids, etc. You want to put smiles on their faces, but you also don’t want to break the bank.

Thanks to BJ’s for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% our own.
Luckily, the folks at BJ’s Wholesale Club are here to make it easier for you. They have created a list of the Top 10 Toys sure to please the kids (I’d say 10 and under) on your list.
Top 10 Toys for Kids
I took a trip to my local BJ’s to see what I could find and enlisted my kids, who are a bit old for this particular list (at ages 11 and 13), to be product testers. I’ll share their opinions on the products they tested and my opinions on the items I was able to see in person at my local BJ’s.

Hug Fun 70″ Jumbo Plush Dog
Yup, 70 inches of cuddly fun! Your kids needs to have a pretty large room for this one. It’s HUGE! My daughter saw a picture and totally wants it, but her room is too small. Hmm, I think my room is big enough. What the heck, big toy for a big kid, right?
Waterbabies Twincesses
I thought these were cute in the store and even cooler when I read more about them. You can fill them with water to make them wiggle and feel warm and soft like a real baby. I think my niece will love them!
Paw Patrol Paw Patroller Vehicle Playset
If you have Paw Patrol fans on your list, this is the perfect gift. Including 2 vehicles, 2 action figures, Paw Patrol sound effects and even a working elevator. The pup-inspired rescue theme is meant to spark a child’s imagination with missions full of friendship, teamwork and bravery.
Giant Keyboard Playmat
My daughter gave this one a try. She’s the music lover in the family. She loves to dance too so it was fun for her to dance along the keys to play a song. There are 8 different instrument sounds, 4 play modes and perhaps the most important part for parents – adjustable volume. She thought it would be a lot of fun for kids in the 3-6 age bracket. She didn’t think the instruments sounded like their real-life counterparts, but she still thought younger kids would have a ton of fun with it.
Collector Series Plush 4 Packs
Each set has 4 plush toys. Choose from Shopkins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Minnie, Lion Guard OR Care Bears. I did not see these in person, but they certainly look cute online. Beside, how can you go wrong with a plush toy for any kid under 5?
Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital On-The-Go Pet Carrier
My daughter had a very similar toy when she was about 7. She LOVED it! If you have an animal lover or aspiring veterinarian on your list, this is the one to get! I saw this one in person and it is super cute.
Disney Junior 20-Pc. Deluxe Collectible Figure Set
Back when my kids were fans of Disney Junior, they would have LOVED this set. Characters from Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and The Lion Guard. The best part is that this set is only $24.99. WOW!
The Learning Journey Techno Gears Marble Mania Master Blaster
This the one that my son tested. The box says it’s for ages 6 and over, but most kids will need a parent to help build the set. The plastic brackets used to hold everything together are quite challenging to clip in. Once the set was together, it certainly looked cool. My daughter gave it a try and thought it was fun sending the marbles through the “system.” We all thought it was a shame that the set only has one configuration. Because of this, some kids might get bored with it easily.
Only 4 Girls Deco Tape Maker Machine
This is the one toy on the list that my daughter will find fun at her age. I placed my order on BJs.com when they did not have it at my local club. Girls her age seem to be into taping everything so what better than personalizing her own tape? It’s sure to be a win!
Bendon World of Creativity Super Activity Set – Assorted
With assorted themes including Finding Dory, Princesses and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, these activity sets will be great for any little artist on your list. These sets include over 1,000 craft items including stickers, crayons, markers, watercolor paints and brushes.
So what are you waiting for? Hop on over to your local BJ’s or BJs.com to shop their Top 10 Toys for Kids.
These are great toys Jenn. I’m done for this year but there are birthdays coming up. I think the keyboard mat is just perfect for my son. Thanks for sharing this Jenn.
My daughter is a die hard Shopkins fan. She would love this 4 plush toy set. She is obsessed with stuff animals.
My daughter was begging for the huge dog.
I love the Water Baby twins. I have 5 year old twin nieces and they would really love them.
What a perfect gift for them!

What a fantastic selection of toys! I know many of these are on my own kids wishlists!
What a great list. We have master blaster on our wish list and I am excited to see their little faces when they open them. Have a wonderful holiday dear!
You too!
I want that super huge plush dog for myself! Thankfully my kids haven’t gotten into Shopkins but I know they are all the rage – and good to know that BJ’s has them!!!
I want a musical mat!! I totally remember water babies as a kid, but I never had one. All my kids talk about is Paw Patrol so I definitely need to get that.
I had never heard of Water Babies. The Paw Patrol stuff looks super cute!
I just got one of thier coupons in the male for a free 3 month membership. I need to go before the holidays hit. These are great gift ideas.
Definitely give them a try!
These look like great toys for kids!! I especially love that huge piano/rug!!
If we had a BJ store near us, I would run over there in a minute and get that Jumbo Plush Dog for myself! I could set it on the floor in my reading room and snuggle in with a good book!
My son would LOVE the giant keyboard. He’s really into music.
We are members of BJ’s. I never realized how many amazing toys they had there. I will definitely look for holiday gifts the next time I’m in the store.
Happy Shopping!
That keyboard playmat looks fantastic! My little one loves music and would really love this for sensory play as well. Will have to check it out for Christmas!
Post a pic if you get it!
I do not have a BJ’s anywhere near me, but these toys look awesome. I’ll have to check our local warehouse stores and see if they have similar stuff.
What some awesome toy ideas and what a great sounding shop as well. Love the keyboard mat!
Having teenage sons makes me miss having the fun of shopping for some of these gifts! I know a bunch of friends that are looking for the Shopkins plush, I will have to tell them about BJ’s.
Cool. It’s always fun to help friends find that perfect gift they are looking for.
Love Bj’s! I have to get the Giant Keyboard Playmat for my nephew.
I always say I’m going to be done with Christmas shopping by December 1st. It never happens. Those dolls are too cute and I love that you can fill them with water to make them feel like a real baby. Adorable!
I kind of like shopping in December when all of the decorations are up.
