Home Made Turkey Burgers With Apples and Mushrooms

I love turkey burgers especially with mix-ins like apples and mushrooms. Providing about 25 grams of protein per 3-ounce serving, they are sure to fill you up too! I typically use 93% lean ground turkey, which is about 176 calories per portion. It only has 2.5 grams of saturated fat as well. Here is one of my favorite turkey burger recipes

Top with whatever you’d like. Here are a few ideas:

  • Fresh avocado spread
  • Fresh tomato
  • Bacon – why not! Especially if you are skipping the bun like I do!
  • Mango salsa
  • Light ranch dressing
  • Good ol’ ketchup
