  • 5 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted (or coconut oil)
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cornstarch


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, toss peeled sliced apples, melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Pour into a casserole dish.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and stir everything, then place back in the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until apples are tender. Enjoy as-is, over yogurt, or with a scoop of ice cream.
